# Alternate Export

## **Step 1: Create a New Export**

1. Navigate to **Settings** > **Document Processing** > **Export**.
2. Click on **Create New Export** to define a new export configuration.
3. Save the configuration and ensure the export is **disabled**.

### **Step 2: Enable Alternate Export**

1. Go to **Settings** > **Global Settings** > **Document Type** > **More Settings**.
2. Locate the **Alternate Export** setting and toggle it **on**.
3. Configure the following:
   * **Document Status**: Specify the status of documents after the alternate export.
   * **Export Configuration**: Select the newly created export configuration to be used for the alternate export.

## Using the Alternate Export

**In the PO-Matching Screen**

* After enabling the alternate export, you will have the option to select the alternate export directly in the **PO-Matching** screen.

**With the Workflow Card**

* The **Alternate Export** workflow card can also be used to automate this process. Configure the card as needed to apply the alternate export logic to your workflow.
